Ten concerts. That’s what singer Adele has planned for this August in the city of Munich. The artist had not set foot on European soil to perform since 2017. Now, after a break, she has decided to return to the stage and this has been the location she has chosen.
The first of these ten dates was last Friday, as part of her new Adele World tour, in which she reviewed her career before some 75,000 spectators. Dressed in a long dark dress and with her hair blowing in the wind, she ended up captivating a Messe München that fell at her feet.
One of the spectators, Murielle, 40, told the EFE news agency that it had been a “great experience.” “The most iconic moment was when she sang Someone like you,” she said, before explaining that the artist “almost started crying.”
Accompanied by the piano in charge of providing harmony to the song, there are moments in the song when she remains silent, as can be seen in the videos, listening to the stadium sing one of her most iconic songs.
And, in one of those moments, the artist herself decides to address the audience to make a request: that everyone return together, including her, to the beginning of the song.
