In collaboration with the Municipalities and educational institutions, presentations and experiential games were organized, promoting recycling and composting.
As part of the activities, events were organized for the World Environment Day and student tours of the facilities of the Thebes Waste Treatment Unit. Also, EPAL Thivas undertook an aluminum recycling program, where the students built a box compression machine.
The cooperation with the “DIOFANTOS” program strengthened the recycling of school books, with the schools of the Region collecting 50% of the total volume. As a reward, the schools received packs of printable paper.
Finally, FoDSA will reward the schools that participated with original ideas in the “best environmental educational game” competition, offering an educational tour of the Archaeological Museum of Thebes.
