The categories of older pupils U15 and U14 went to a training camp in the High Tatras last week. Under Lomnický štít, both categories completed several training units and took part in the tournament.
The 15 played a two-day tournament for the High Tatras Cup, where they took 3rd place, while the younger U14s went to a one-day tournament in Banská Bystrica. At the beginning of the preparation, both teams used the confrontation mainly to set the principles of the game in the team and individual performances of all players.
Evaluation of U15 coach David Čech:
“The boys did an excellent job throughout the training session, they were partly able to transfer the tactical plans from training and preparations to the match. Their reward was also 3rd place in the tournament, where in the semi-finals we were not enough for the later winner Slovan Bratislava. Thanks to the hotel’s excellent facilities, we also took advantage of the possibility of regeneration or a half-day trip to Zelené pleso. I believe that all the players will continue the set trend so that their sports form and performance will gradually increase in the rest of the preparation, so that in the competition year we will be an equal opponent to all teams on a nationwide scale.”
