Hamburg – The start was successful: last Friday (8.30pm) HSV started with 2-1 at the 1. FC Cologne into the new second season.

The Hanseatic League are looking to pick up the three points in the coming weeks to complete their return to the Bundesliga at the seventh attempt.

August 4, 10:14 am: HSV signs Silvan Hefti

Now it’s fixed! HSV brings Silvan Hefti (26) from Genoa. The right-back is not only being loaned out, but is also being signed permanently.

“Silvan has gained extensive experience in different countries and their major leagues, which he now brings to us. He wants and should take responsibility, so we are very happy that we were able to make the move happen.“, explained Claus Costa, director of professional football.

Hefti himself clarified: I chose HSV because the club still has a special appeal and I really want to be a part of it and help bring HSV back to the Bundesliga.

Good news for staff before the traditional duel against Köln.

As coach Steffen Baumgart (52) announced at the press conference, striker Effzeh Davie Selke (29) is a real choice for the team. It will not be enough for the starting eleven, but nothing stands in the way of a substitute.

Will HSV bring in their fourth new signing of the season soon?

According to the “Hamburger Morgenpost“Right back Silvan Hefti (26) is said to have finally decided to move to Hamburg. Everything should be clarified between the club and the player.

It is not yet clear whether the obligation should be a purchase or a loan agreement. The financial aspects between HSV and Hefti’s club CFC Genoa have not yet been clarified.

July 31, 9:15am: Robert Glatzel and Matheo Raab miss the Cologne clash

These failures have hurt: Robert Glatzel (30) and Matheo Raab (25) will miss the opening game in Cologne, which is now certain.

Knipser Glatzel has been suffering from tendon irritation for weeks, which meant he couldn’t even train with the team.

Not only does Raab’s guardian have an infection, as was originally thought, but also pneumonia. It ties the 25-year-old to the bed, he has to take antibiotics and not only will he miss the game against Cologne.

July 31, 7:30 am: Looks like these professionals have found their starting point

At the end of the preparations it will be clear who will have secured one of the coveted starting spots for the away game in Cologne.

Captain Sebastian Schonlau (29), Dennis Hadzikadunic (26), Miro Muheim (26), Jonas Meffert (29), new signing Daniel Elfadli (27), Ludovit Reis (24) seems to have been confirmed that the coach Steffen Baumgart (52). Newcomer number two, Adam Karabec (21), also has good chances.

There are still three open positions and a goalkeeper.
