‘Leave now’: Britain urges its citizens to leave Lebanon

Saturday The UK has urged its citizens to leave Lebanon due to the expected escalation between the terrorist group Hezbollah and Israel.

“My message to the citizens of Britain is clear: leave the country now“said UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy. Tensions are high and could escalate at any time.

Earlier today The US also urged its citizens to leave Lebanon. The announcement was made by the US Embassy in Beirut on social media.

As several airlines canceled or suspended their flights, the embassy advises people to buy the last available tickets even if the flight does not leave immediately or leaving the country on an invisible path.
