Amstelveen – The Dekmantel Festival has started today in the Amsterdam forest. For three days (13:00-23:00) the festival grounds Land van Bosse near the old radar tower will be dedicated to the festival that exists ten years.
The Dekmantel Festival has grown over the past ten years into a festival with international allure: many foreign festival-goers also come to Dekmantel in the forest. The forest camp is therefore packed with visitors to Dekmantel these days.
The festival had already started earlier at other locations in Amsterdam. On Friday afternoon, the first groups headed to the festival grounds in the forest and the musical beats were already waving through the forest.
In contrast to last year (quite a bit of rain), the weather is much better now. The temperatures are pleasant and rain is forecast to stay away.
Friday around noon there were still some tickets available for Friday (2 Aug) and Sunday (4 Aug) in the Amsterdam Forest. [Let op: er zijn meerdere locaties die onderdeel uitmaken van het Dekmantel Festival, zoals ISO aan de Isolatorweg en LOFI aan de Basisweg, beiden in Amsterdam, daar zijn aparte tickets voor].
