A 32-year-old woman in Didymoteicho was living the absolute nightmare at the hands of her partner. It all came to light last Friday when the young woman made it to safety.

There the police officers saw the marks on her body and took her to the hospital to provide her with first aid. The 32-year-old reported to the police the nightmare she had been living for at least the last month.

Her partner kept her locked up, beat her and raped her. A case file has been filed against the 32-year-old for rape, illegal detention and domestic violence, while investigations to locate him are ongoing.
