Iran Ready to Attack? “Coming Hours”, “The World Will Witness Extraordinary Scenes”

Iran Announces Attack on Israel. “Coming Hours”

After the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh the supreme spiritual and political leader of Iran,
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, announced retaliation. – We consider revenge our duty – he said. – Israel “has prepared for itself a severe punishment” that Iran will impose – he announced.

It is possible that Iran’s military response will come soon. “In the coming hours the world will witness extraordinary scenes and very important events” – an Iranian state TV presenter said on Friday during a live program focusing on Tehran’s retaliation against Israel.

Iran and its allies will retaliate against Israel in a coordinated but limited manner, the AFP news agency reported on Thursday, reporting on Wednesday’s meeting of members of the “axis of resistance”, called by Israel the “axis of terror”, in Tehran. The group includes Lebanese Hezbollah, Palestinian Hamas and Yemen’s Houthis.

Tehran: Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, and Houthis Ready to Attack

Two scenarios were considered at the meeting in Tehran: a coordinated strike by Iran and its allies or a staggered response by each side – an anonymous source close to Hezbollah told AFP.

It is very possible that the response will be coordinated; the events of recent days have allowed for a significant increase in coordination at the tactical level between Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, the Houthis, Iraqi militias associated with the Popular Mobilization Forces and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, said Amal Saad, a political scientist who deals with Israeli-Lebanese relations.

– The expected attack by Iran and its allies will probably be stronger than its reaction in mid-Aprilwhen, following the Israeli attack on Iranian commanders in Damascus, Tehran sent a series of drones and missiles at Israel, most of which were shot down, and the attack caused almost no damage or losses, commented Iranian analyst Ahmad Zeidabadi.

“Israel finalizes talks with allies”

US President Joe Biden is irritated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s actions – Axios wrote on Friday. During a “difficult phone call” on Thursday, Biden demanded that Netanyahu stop escalating tensions in the Middle East and agree to a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip as soon as possible.
