The charging stations at the fairground and in St. Christophorus Street in Herxheim have been renewed, according to a statement. The measure had become necessary because the first charging stations no longer met the new requirements for measurement and billing technology after six years of operation. The modernization now ensures more precise and user-friendly billing of charging processes. According to the administration, a particular highlight is the new fast charging station in the town hall car park. This charging station offers an output of 50 kW and thus enables electric vehicles to be charged much faster than conventional normal charging stations. This is another step by the local community to promote electromobility and facilitate the switch to environmentally friendly vehicles.
A significant advancement of the new charging stations is the introduction of new payment methods. From now on, the stations can be used not only with the customer card of Gemeindewerke Herxheim in the ESEL.CAB network or with any common charging app, but also with credit and debit cards. This expansion of payment options makes charging even more convenient and flexible for all users.
A customer card for the charging stations of the Herxheim municipal utility company can be applied for via the website www.esel.cab. If you have any questions, please contact the Herxheim municipal utility company on 07276/501412 or by email at [email protected].
