EA Sports says goodbye to Milan and for a long time!
It is not one, but the two Milanese clubs to leave FC 25 au profit d’eFootball. The “tifosi” of Inter and AC Milan will inevitably be disappointed, the license allowing to promote the two Italian clubs has been recovered by Konami. EA Sports game players need not worry, all Footballers belonging to these clubs will still be available in the different modes.
The other bad news is that both Inter and Milan are unlikely to return to the game before FC 29. In fact, the contracts signed by the two clubs would tie to Konami until 2028. The fans of these two European monsters are therefore not ready to see their favorite clubs again in the football simulation which, despite the arrival of competition, remains the most popular in the world.
A golden contract
According to @Calosalvador on X, the teams that share the same stadium, San Siro for AC Milan and Giuseppe-Meazza for Inter, should each receive a total of 45 million euros, three times more than what EA Sport offered for Serie A (the Italian football league). The contract, lasting 6 years, stipulated exclusivity for the Bleu et Noir club from its signing in 2022, but not for its rival.
But the terms of the latter depended on the renewal of the one that links EA Sports and the Italian championship. Although the league asked the two Milanese clubs to give their priorities to FC rather thaneFootball, THE 7.5 million euros per year Konami’s advances have allowed rivals to put pressure on the latter has therefore agreed to continue with EA Sports without 4 of its 20 clubs (AC Milan, Inter Milan, Lazio Rome and Atalanta).
