/ world today news/ On August 14 in Northern Egypt, the leaders of Egypt, Jordan and Palestine met to discuss the situation between Israel and Palestine.
After the meeting, in the joint statement, the leaders of the three countries reiterated their support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and said that the most important task now is to create a timetable for the end of the Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territory.
The statement added that the three countries would continue to cooperate with the international community to restore a “serious and practical” peace process.
