38 clubs already want to grow cannabis in Baden-Württemberg

The Freiburg authority is responsible for approving the requests

The regional council of Freiburg has so far received 38 applications for an operating license to grow cannabis. The authorities have now reported this. Agricultural clubs are allowed to apply for a license for one month.

Freiburg’s regional council is responsible for licensing all clubs throughout Baden-Württemberg. Among other things, it examines whether those responsible for the developing societies are trustworthy. The health and prevention concept of the clubs is also being explored. It is not yet clear when the first agricultural license will be issued. In total, the authority expects more than 100 applications from all over Baden-Württemberg.
