Boxer Marco Verde will complete Mexican activity at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games on July 31.
‘El Green’ is having his first fight at the Olympic Games, so it is anecdotal for the country.
Verde is a boxer in the -71 kilogram category and is one of the athletes to follow because he was champion at the 2023 Pan American Games, and in the last two months he won the crown of the 2 international tournaments in which he participated and which were preparation for the event.
A few weeks ago, Verde revealed to EL UNIVERSAL Deportes that he wanted to surprise, that is, “arrive as an unknown” to his rivals.
Marco even admitted that he likes “when people say ‘it’s from Mexico, so it’s easy'” because that way he can proudly show the power of the Mexican people.
His opponent in the round of 16 is Muxanga Tiago of Mozambique.

There are two options to watch the boxer’s fight in Mexico: TUDN and Claro Sports.
The fight between Marco Verde and Tiago Muxanga is scheduled for 9:20 p.m. in France, i.e. 1:20 p.m. in Mexico.
It is a tentative time taking into account that it depends on previous fights.
