Granada performs the national anthem

While the MotoGP returns from its summer break this weekend in Silverstone, people in Spielberg are already looking forward to the premier class of motorcycle racing. From August 16 to 18, Francesco Bagnaia and co. will race around the Red Bull Ring and provide a spectacle in Upper Styria, and not just in sporting terms. The people in charge at the Ring have also put together a varied supporting program away from the track.

The “Pit Lane Walk” on Thursday has almost become a tradition – an exclusive look behind the scenes with a walk through the pit lane. With a bit of luck, fans can also get a selfie with the MotoGP stars. All visitors with a weekend ticket have access on a “first come, first served” basis. It might be worth lining up a little earlier. In addition to the walk through the sanctuaries of MotoGP, there will be a “MopedGP of Austria” for the first time on Thursday, in which hundreds of moped riders will race around the track and be cheered on from the stands.

The Bike City behind the Niki Lauda curve is a permanent home for all motorsport enthusiasts, where there are opportunities to experience the riders up close at the “Meet the Riders” throughout the weekend. Fans have the best chance of getting autographs on Sunday morning at the “Hero Walk on the Styrian Green Carpet” directly in front of the Welcome Center. Alexander Eder and Granada will be heating things up on the show stage in the Bike City on Friday. The Graz cult band will also be given a very special honor: on Sunday, the Styrian band will be performing the national anthem before the race.
