Only two days remain until the sixth edition of SPICE Music Festival 2024, which on August 2 and 3 will once again gather the performers of the greatest hits of the 90s and their fans in the Burgas Sea Station area.
On the first festival day – August 2, 2 Unlimited, Haddaway, Fragma, Groove Coverage, KLF feat. GODDESS, Wanda Dee and Evi Goffin ex-Lasgo. And on August 3, the atmosphere will heat up with their hits Panjabi MC, Captain Hollywood Project, E-Type, John Newman, Gareth Gates, David Tavare and Italo Brothers.
Three days after the Spice music festival – on August 6, in the same festival area at 8:00 p.m., the mega-star Lenny Kravitz’s big concert will take place, for which more than 12,000 visitors are expected.
In order to provide suitable conditions and guarantee the safety of all fans on August 2 and 3, a special parking area will be set aside on Bulair Street, in the section from Konstantin Fotinov Street to Tsar Simeon I Street in the range of 16.00 to 08.00 hours.
The parking area will also be open for the Lenny Kravitz concert on August 6, again from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. on August 7. Its capacity is for about 120 cars. This became clear at a meeting between representatives of the Municipality of Burgas, law enforcement officers, control bodies and institutions involved in the festival.
For greater safety, traffic will be temporarily restricted from the “Primorets” hotel roundabout in the direction of Sea Station. This restriction will be in place from 08.00 on 1 August to 08.00 on 7 August to cover the days of both music festivals.
Due to the expected large number of visitors, the entrance to the concert of the American rock star Lenny Kravitz will be moved further – from the Sea Garden past the Primorets Hotel, in order to avoid so many people gathering on the street next to Shop 1.
Other parking lots in the city can be used for the Spice music festival and for the Lenny Kravitz concert – “Gurko” Parking, “Opera” Parking, “Tria City Center” Parking, “Kyril and Methodius” Parking, “Pyrgos” Parking.
For the convenience of all music lovers who will visit the Spice music festival this weekend, the municipal carrier “Burgasbus” will provide additional routes on lines B11 and B12.
The extraordinary courses will be performed on the night of Friday and Saturday and on the night of Saturday and Sunday, and the departure times will be at 00:30 and 01:30 from the starting stops – the terminals in the railway station. “Copper Mine”, g.k. “Izgrev” and zh.k. “Slaveikov”.
The same extraordinary courses will also be performed after Lenny Kravitz’s concert next Tuesday – 06.08.2024. In Burgas, there is also a night line that provides transport services for passengers every night between 11.30pm and 4.00am. For convenience, passengers can also use the mobile application: https://transport.burgasbus.info/, with which they can monitor the schedule of public transport in real time.
During the meeting, the organizers called on the establishments and commercial establishments around the Sea Station and the central parts of the city to be prepared for the large number of guests of Burgas.
