This incident took place last Friday, July 26 this year. As we have already written in Onet, Zofia Klepacka, a champion and two-time vice-world champion in windsurfing, claims that she was attacked by security staff.
Zofia Klepacka: I was poked, insulted, I got hit in the head twice
“I was recently beaten up Warsaw Uprising Museum by female boxers, security guards… I was pushed, insulted, I got hit twice in the head, where I fell and when I was lying there, another one ran up and used pepper spray right in the eye and face. And I just wanted to pick up the invitations to the Warsaw Uprising Celebrations and walk like a human being on the sidewalk. Never mind, these are the times when a woman has to get punched in the face. See you tomorrow, Dear Insurgents” (original spelling – ed.) – Zofia Klepacka said on Monday evening on her Facebook profile.
The sportswoman also posted photos of her face and leg with visible injuries and watery eyes. She also added a photo with an invitation to a meeting with Warsaw insurgents.

Zofia Klepacka: I don’t go to the police
“My dears, I feel fine! I don’t go to the police, but you shouldn’t treat people like that! Good night,” she wrote three hours later.
According to information provided to us by Anna Kotonowicz, spokeswoman for the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the incident took place outside the museum grounds, in front of the gate, a few hours before Brodka’s concert. “There was a scuffle, so the police were called to investigate,” Anna Kotonowicz told us.
“In connection with the statement of Ms. Z. Klepacka of July 29 and numerous questions, we would like to inform you that according to the Police and our information, on July 26, 2024, an incident took place in front of the Warsaw Uprising Museum, as a result of which the Police were called. An assault of an employee of an external security company was reported,” we read in an official statement issued by the Warsaw Uprising Museum.
“Due to the aggressive behavior of two people that took place last Friday in front of the Warsaw Uprising Museum, the museum security called the police to the scene. Actions are currently underway to clarify all the circumstances of the event,” the Warsaw Police Headquarters reported on its official profile on the X service (formerly Twitter).
She ripped off the tape and hit the security guard in the head, knocking off his hat.
As Onet has established, the course of the event was completely different than Klepacka’s presentation. Our unofficial information indicates that the athlete tried to get through the tape separating the event area, despite the objections of a security guard. “The woman ripped off the tape and hit the security guard in the head, knocking off his hat,” our source reports.
Then Klepacka’s friend ran up to the employee and kicked him. He also knocked his mobile phone out of his hand, breaking the glass of the device. Another security guard rushed to help his friend. The two of them overpowered the aggressive people using tear gas, then called the police.
— It was this woman and her friends who were aggressive. The security guards threw her to the ground, responding to their attacks — our informant reports.
As we learn, the police have evidence of this course of events in the form of a surveillance recording and an eyewitness’s testimony. So far, neither party – neither the security guards nor Klepacka herself – has filed any report at the police station about a possible crime or misdemeanor.
