(ANSA) – CORTINA D’AMPEZZO, JULY 26 – Fish and meals merchandise for a complete of 1 ton and 400 kilograms have been seized in an operation to guard the fishing business carried out by the Venice Coast Guard in some catering institutions within the Cortina d’Ampezzo space. The operation was carried out underneath the useful management of the Ministry of Agriculture, Meals Sovereignty and Forestry, with the intention of stopping unlawful conduct that compromises the standard of fish merchandise, particularly “made in Italy” and to guard the top shopper. The army personnel of the Port Authority, with the personnel of the Veterinary Service for the Hygiene of Meals of Animal Origin of the Ulss n. 1 Dolomiti, carried out checks at famend eating places. The seized merchandise embody sea bass, amberjack, cuttlefish, squid, crimson shrimp, octopus, salmon and different non-fish meals merchandise. Eight administrative sanctions have been imposed for a complete of twenty-two,000 euros, three seizures have been made for a complete of 1,400 kilograms of fish and meals merchandise that weren’t traced or not in compliance with labeling laws and with expired expiration dates.
