It might be tough to go to Greece’s archaeological websites on Thursday morning, after the union representing antiquities guards, PEYFA, went on strike for 4 hours beginning at 8am.
PEYFA says the walkout is a “warning” to the Ministry of Tradition and Finance to not privatize tickets at archaeological websites and state museums.
The motion comes after the Archaeological Assets Fund issued a choice assigning the duty of issuing digital tickets and managing guests arriving on the Acropolis to an organization non-public.
