Prime Minister Gabriel Attal introduced Sunday night that he would current his resignation to President Emmanuel Macron on Monday morning, after the legislative elections which put the left within the lead, however mentioned he was prepared to stay at Matignon “so long as obligation requires” within the context of the Olympic Video games.
“This night, the political social gathering that I represented on this marketing campaign (…) doesn’t have a majority. Thus, trustworthy to the republican custom and in accordance with my rules, I’ll submit my resignation to the President of the Republic tomorrow morning,” he declared on the steps of Matignon, stressing “that no absolute majority could be led by the extremes”, understood because the Nationwide Rally and France Insoumise.
However as France “prepares to welcome the world in just a few weeks” for the Olympic Video games, “I’ll in fact assume my capabilities for so long as obligation requires,” he added.
