New York Met returns artwork treasures to Cambodia – Cultural Information – Tradition – WDR – Cultural Information – Tradition

Cambodia’s Minister of Tradition Phoeurng Sackona accepted the artwork treasures of the historic Khmer Kingdom at a ceremony. These embrace a statue of a goddess from the tenth century and a big Buddha head from the seventh century. Sackona mentioned she was joyful and happy to welcome the ancestors again dwelling. The Met has many different artwork treasures that she hopes will return to Cambodia.
