Close to Roumelis Road, in Livadeia Viotias, there’s a fireplace burning in a residential space. In accordance with witnesses, it’s near the hospital and the 2nd Excessive Faculty, and some tens of meters away from propane tanks.
40 firefighters with 1 group of pedestrians from the 4th EMODE division and 16 autos are working, together with earthmoving machines and tankers from the Municipality of Livadeia and the Area of Sterea.
In an announcement, the Municipality of Levadea notes that “residents of the world of Agios Vlasios behind the 2nd Lyceum of Livadeia are requested to coordinate with the directions of the Hearth Division till the extinguishing course of is full.”
Firefighters are scrambling to guard propane tanks, in line with photographs posted on Fb by residents.
