Two generals of the Peruvian Military have been arrested in an operation carried out by the Prosecutor’s Workplace and the Excessive Complexity Crime Investigation Division (Diviac) of the Police that included the search of 5 properties belonging to members of an alleged legal group devoted to the theft of gas.
Generals EP Roberto Huamaní and Jorge Luis Yánac Chávez. The latter is in retirement. Together with them, the retired EP non-commissioned officer, Fidel Wilder Mogrovejo, was arrested.

The house of Main EP José Fon Pacheco and civilian Jony Rojas Santiago was additionally raided. All of them are being investigated for the theft of 6,000 gallons of gasoline as a part of the legal actions of the legal group “Los Jefes.”
In keeping with the Prosecutor’s Workplace, the army would have diverted the gallons of gasoline that have been destined for the faucet of the thirty first Military Infantry Brigade in Huancayo.
