Chilling: the family of the fallen man released a song he recorded in his own voice

The late Captain Ameti Zvi Granot was killed on October 15 (Tishrei) in a battle with Hezbollah, in the first week of the war. In the battle in which Ameti fell, he and his tank crew killed many terrorists. At the end of the battle, Ameti was hit by a missile that was terrifying from a distance. Before 4 years ago Ameti entered the studio, and recorded with his voice the song “Ended” by Idan Amadi, which he really liked. After Ameti’s fall, his brother found the recording and together with a friend added instruments and arrangements.

His father, Rabbi Tamir Garnot, head of Yeshiva Orot Shaul in Tel Aviv, says “Amati was a boy and a gentle man with a noble and genuine soul. With a heavenly voice. He loved to sing, he loved to play and we all loved to sing along with him.”

“You can hear the wonderful singing of Ameti, when he sings the wonderful song of Idan,” says Rabbi Garnot, “here the heroism of our fighters is connected, Idan Amadi on the one hand, the clear and clear voice he utters – about the people of Israel, about his forces, about the heroism his, for his unity; and his poetry and his bravery, his devotion to the people of Israel.”

“How many heroes are there in the country”

“Idan wrote in the song ‘How many heroes are there in the country’. How many heroes are there in the country really, how many heroes are there in the country.
And our heroes, in Idan’s words, reply ‘with love’. Their heroism is in love. They spread love, spread light of love. This is the light that Amati spread and it is the light that we want to spread for Memorial Day.
We send this song with a prayer. That the suffering will really end. The war will end. From a victory from the rise of Israel from the return of the kidnapped Shabbat we can say – it’s over, we are in a different time in an era of peace.”

In closing, Rabbi Granot calls on the entire nation of Israel “And in the meantime, for the coming Memorial Day, we call on everyone to go to the cemeteries. To the plots where the heroes of Israel are and be with them, stand by the families, pray with them, sing with them. These plots are the plots of the great men of Israel, the saints of Israel. Everyone Heroes are all saints. They are the essence of the people of Israel. Together with the wounded, the warriors – all together.”
