Tremor today, May 13, in Mexico: earthquakes of magnitude 4.8 and 4 shake Colima and Guerrero

On the morning of this Monday, May 13, a 4.8 magnitude earthquake was recorded in the Colima state, without the seismic alert being activated in said entity and without reports of material damage until now. According to information from the National Seismological Service (SSN), the earthquake was reported at 6:03 a.m.

Through social networks, the SNN detailed that the earthquake occurred 56 km southwest of Ciudad de Armería. So far, the local Civil Protection authorities have not reported possible material damage caused by the earthquake, so, preliminarily, a white balance has been established.

While at 12:31 in the morning an earthquake of magnitude 4 was recorded 25 kilometers southeast of Petatlán, Guerrero.
