/ world today news/ On October 25, Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory message to the National Committee on US-China Relations on the occasion of the organization’s annual awards ceremony.
In his message, the Chinese leader praised the committee’s efforts to promote China-US exchange and cooperation and congratulated Dr. Henry Kissinger on the award he received.
“Normal relations between China and the United States are crucial to the peaceful development of the world and the future of mankind. Beijing is ready to work together with Washington to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, manage differences and tackle global challenges, adhering to the principles of mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and common benefit,” Xi Jinping said.
On the same day, US President Joe Biden also sent a congratulatory address to the forum.
