Matura exam – May 2024. Advanced level exams have started
The 2024 high school leaving exams have been underway across Poland since May 7 (they will end on May 25). This year, 5,678 students (from public and private schools) will take part in them for the first time in Wrocław. The secondary school leaving examination takes place in two formats: 2015 and 2023.
Students in their last years of secondary school first took on compulsory subjects at the primary level. Polish was the first language (check the sheets), then mathematics (see the sheets) and English (sheets). On Friday, May 10, some students took the extended secondary school leaving examination in WOS and German, and today (May 13) they will take the secondary school leaving examination in English, also at this level. According to the Central Examination Commission, English is the most popular among additional subjects. It was chosen by as many as 77 percent. students in Poland. 37.9 percent will tackle mathematics at an advanced level, 23.7 percent. with Polish, and 22.3 percent with geography.
Matura exam in English – extended level – May 13, 2024 (SHEETS)The extended Matura exam in English will start on May 13 (Monday) at 9.00 and will last 150 minutes. In this article approx. At 2:00 p.m. we will post the exam papers after they are made available by CKE. Check the English Matura exam sheets in the gallery – versions A and B. More information on the CKE website. On Monday at At 2:00 p.m. some students will also take the philosophy exam at the advanced level.

- May 23 (Thursday), 9:00– physics; 14:00 – Italian
When will we know the 2024 Matura exam results?
Oral exams will take place from May 11 to 16 (except May 12) and from May 20 to 25 – the dates are set by the schools.
The results of the final exams will be announced on July 9, 2024.
Meanwhile, tomorrow (May 14), primary school students across Poland will face… eighth-grade exam, which will last three days.
