Pacers vs Knicks Game 4: Haliburton Leads Indiana to Victory

The Indiana Games They won their first game of the NBA Eastern Conference semifinal series against the New York Knicks on Friday in Game 3.

Down 2-1, Indiana will have a chance to even the series at Gainbridge Fieldhouse today.

Indiana doesn’t slow down to start the second half. Andrew Nembhard, Aaron Nesmith and Pascal Siakam have combined for 8 points in the third so far.

Pacers 77, Knicks 45

Obi Toppin and Andrew Nembhard made 3-pointers back. Donte DiVincenzo scored at 4:14 but that was answered by a Myles Turner 3-pointer. New York’s Alec Burks hit a 12-foot shot at 3:32.

Nembard made a layup at 2:41. Aaron Nesmith scored at 1:38, followed by Pascal Siakam’s 13-foot shot at 1:13. Tyrese Haliburton scored the last 5 points for the Pacers. He has 13 points and 5 rebounds.

Indiana shot 60% from the floor in the first half. New York shot 36%.

Pacers 69, Knicks 41

Indiana took a 47-19 lead after TJ McConnell made a 3-pointer. Alex Burks answered with a basket for the Knicks. Isaiah Hartenstein and Jalen Brunson scored for the Knicks to give New York a 6-0 run.

The Knicks started the second quarter with a 5-2 run. Pascal Siakam made back-to-back shots to extend Indiana’s lead to 21 points.

Obi Toppin and TJ McConnel scored 7 points each off the bench in the first quarter. Tyrese Haliburton leads the team with 8 points.

Pacers 34, Pacers 14

TJ McConnell got the steal and passed it to Tyrese Haliburton, who threw down a dunk at 5:58. McConnell got into the scoring at 5:30 with a 2-point shot. At the 4:43 mark, Myles Turner made a 3-pointer. Thirty seconds later, Turner scored on a dunk. McConnell made a layup and was fouled in the process. He made the game free. McConnell made another layup with 3:30 left. He has 7 points in 3 minutes off the bench.

Donte DiVincenzo hit a 3 for the Knicks, but the Pacers scored just 10 points (Ben Sheppard and Obi Toppin made 3s).
