Israel’s participation in the final of Eurovision 2024, in Malmö, Sweden, was accepted with applause from the spectators.
Israel’s involvement has gone through forty waves due to the country’s ongoing war in the Gaza Strip with the Palestinian organization Hamas. As for the presentation of the song, there was a large circular structure on stage, which initially looked like a tunnel.
The stage was lit with blue hues, as a stormy feeling prevailed during the performance, and the presentation ended with orange lighting – like the sunrise that symbolizes hope.

However, spectators at the Malmö Arena, within seconds, uploaded videos taunting the Israeli team. People chanted “Palestine” and tweeted that “what you saw on TV is not what happened in reality.” The singer, despite the intense reactions against her and her team, pretended nothing happened, said “thank you” and left the stage happily.
