According to the vice president, the work report summarizes the commitment of Minister Rolando Castro to transform the institutional framework and also highlighted the vision of the Government of the President of the Republic, Nayib Bukele Ortez, to promote significant advances to guarantee the labor rights of the Salvadoran population, thanks to an exhaustive evaluation and the design of a comprehensive strategic plan.
“It was also addressed how this administration strengthened labor reporting mechanisms through the use of digital platforms, implemented new ways to report harassment at work and modernized public services related to the occupational field,” Ulloa explained.
«In this five-year period, the Ministry of Labor has allowed the establishment of alliances to connect companies with the local population, prioritizing vulnerable groups and young people without work experience. In addition, the role of El Salvador as a leader and reference in occupational research was highlighted. to be the first country in Central America and the second in Latin America to implement a Labor Market Information System (SIMEL),” stressed Félix Ulloa.
