Nemo wins the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 on behalf of Switzerland with The Code

The Swiss Nemo has been one of the top favorites for the win since the release of The Code. The field of participants was strong this year with Croatia, Ireland, Italy and Ukraine as major competitors. But Nemo has cracked the code and proved impossible to beat in this exciting final with a unique combination of rap, pop, R&B, opera, drum and bass!

In the entry, Nemo sings about the journey the artist has had to take as a non-binary person. “Getting to know myself was a long and often difficult process,” says Nemo. “But nothing makes me feel freer than realizing that I am non-binary.”

With The Code, Nemo gives Switzerland victory again – after a drought of more than 35 years. With his win, Nemo follows the world-famous singer Céline Dion, who won in 1988 with Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi.
