For his part, the Cuban influencer Niover Licea echoed the incident, detailing that the woman’s brother contacted him to help him make the case visible.
According to the communicator, Daymi’s family wants their message to reach the congressman from the area where the woman resides, Adrian Smith, in the hope that he will provide them with help.
According to Licea, the family hopes that the official can help them obtain humanitarian visas so that Daymi’s daughter, Elizabeth Vanesa, 16, can travel to the United States along with her grandmother, Haydée Cateura, so that they can see the hospitalized Cuban. .
Likewise, the medical center where the woman is located prepared a letter addressed to the Cuban consular section, in which they request that humanitarian visas be provided to the patient’s relatives, since she needed them.
Damian Furcade opened an account on the platform GoFundMethis with the objective of raising funds to deal with increasing hospital expenses.
“The reason I am raising money is to alleviate hospital expenses, plus the recovery that will take months or even a year, as the doctors explain. These funds are going to be used for this entire long process that he is going to face in the hospital and then his recovery,” reads the campaign, which has already raised more than 1,000 dollars.
