Members of the National Civil Police (PNC) captured two subjects who tried to flee from justice, evading a vehicle checkpoint and throwing several packages of drugs through the window of the vehicle in which they were being transported.
The incident occurred in the early hours of this Saturday on the Pan-American highway towards El Congo, Santa Ana, the subjects were chased and captured in the El Carmen subdivision, towards Lake Coatepeque, department of Santa Ana.
The detainees were identified as Antonio Alfredo Rosales Reyes and José Salvador Acevedo Rincan.
In the bag that they threw along the road, 60 portions of drugs were found, including marijuana, cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as a digital scale.
While in the vehicle they seized portions of marijuana, cash, a pipe and two cell phones. They will be prosecuted for illicit drug trafficking.
