Thonon Black Panthers Dominate Thalheim Graz Giants in CEFL Quarter Finals

Apparently the people of Graz were not interested in the game from the start. As they lost the previous week in the Bundesliga at Vikings Vienna, the head coach’s team scored a goal Michael Mattingly against a clearly superior opponent.

The home team started with a touchdown catch Odell Turnbull with 7:0 ahead, while Graz’s offense was stalling. A device in the end zone for safety did that 9:0 to the French who are over there Liam Ward for the 16:0 they could add more. Something like hope rose shortly before half-time 16:6 could be shortened. The two-point conversion was unsuccessful despite a replay following a penalty against nearby Thonon.

After the restart, QB increased K’Hari Lane with his third passport, this time on Kevin Dessaux forward 23:6. Then the Giants had a stroke of luck. Apparently a field goal was only blocked by Adel Bafdile carried back for a goal, a flag against Thonon canceled the score. Bafdile then tallied the score on special teams when he recovered a punt from the Giants in the final quarter 30:6 back.

A tiring day for the Graz team, who suffered their second major away defeat in a row and whose international season is now over.
