The facts

On October 29, 2022, police personnel from the Investigation Department carried out an operation in the Yarinacocha district, with the objective of preventing and combating criminal activity in the area where Ipushima Marín was intervened in the Los Pinos neighborhood. with Circunvalación Avenue, when upon noticing the police presence, he fled quickly towards a passage and entered a house with a fence and corrugated board doors.

As part of the police protocol, Ipushima Marín was asked to allow the search of the home, to which he voluntarily agreed. Upon discovery, the suspect was questioned about the origin of the weapon, and he admitted being its owner and having acquired it 4 months ago for an amount of S/ 2,500 from a person known as “Paola.”

The firearm was then seized and Frank Anthony Ipushima Marín was arrested. The Forensic Ballistics expert report concluded that the weapon and ammunition were in a state of conservation and operability adequate for use.
