FC Wacker Innsbruck Faces Tough Challenge Against Second Placed First Vienna FC 1894 on Mother’s Day

The Wacker women are entering the hot phase of the relegation battle. On Sunday they welcome second placed First Vienna FC 1894 and hope to get in the mood on Mother’s Day.

This feeling of success gave us self-confidence and restored the belief in staying in the league. This could unlock new forces that are urgently needed in the relegation battle. There are only three rounds left to play, making every match a final. The last team, FC Bergheim, is still five points ahead of the Wackerians and will have to compete against Austria in this round. So while the players and coaches of FC Wacker Innsbruck will try everything to create an atmosphere against Vienna – which would already be a point win – people in the stands will be in danger of watching Vienna from from time to time.
