The ad honorem president of the National Sports Institute of El Salvador (INDES), Yamil Bukele, revealed today the mechanism through which fans will be able to obtain tickets and enjoy Una Noche Mágica on May 30, an event that will serve as a tribute to the greatest exponent of football in the country, Jorge “El Mágico” González, with the international friendly game between the national team and Cádiz CF.
The honoree Jorge González could not be missing from the conference, who was received with applause by the sports press and at the end he thanked the institute for the initiative for the museum and the game in his honor.
Bukele confirmed that 24,000 tickets will be available to the public, free of charge, starting at 00:00 next Friday, May 10, on the Fun Capital platform.
Fans will be able to register with their DUI, and will be entitled to a maximum of three tickets in general sol, or two in either the low grandstand or the high grandstand.
The game between Selecta and Cádiz, scheduled to start at 8:00 pm, will serve as the culmination of a series of activities in honor of “El Mágico”, which includes the inauguration of the museum in honor of Jorge, as well as the projection from a documentary produced by INDES about González’s life in Cádiz.
The Salvadoran played in the 1982-1984 and 1986-1991 stages with Cádiz CF and is considered an idol in the Cadiz city.
The museum will also be inaugurated in the stadium in honor of “El Mágico” which will be a unique space with photographs, clothing, souvenirs and trophies from his sports career and a soccer theme that will captivate all visitors who will learn part of the life, history , exploits, achievements of the figure and legend of Salvadoran soccer.
“I believe that there is no better way to honor and dignify a person than to do so in life. Jorge has given a lot to this country and I believe that he does not measure everything that he has given to El Salvador, being one hundred percent original. As an institution and as a government we want to honor that with Una Noche Mágica,” said Yamil Bukele.
Another of the data revealed was that the former soccer player Jorge González will participate on May 28 in the talk with the national and international press “El Mágico” and his Friends.
It was also reported that a group of 1,000 people will be in charge of the security device before, during and after the international friendly match between Selecta and the Cádiz club.
During its stay on Salvadoran soil, Cádiz CF will also develop a recreational and social activity in collaboration with the students who make up the six levels of the Jorge “El Mágico” González Foundation (FundaMágico) football academy, players from the LaLiga Program, Values and Opportunity, and Special Olympics El Salvador.
The ad honorem president of INDES also reported that the Cádiz CF team will arrive in the country on May 27 on a charter flight and the delegation will be made up of players, coaching staff, authorities of the Cadiz city and the Spanish press.
A Magic Night promises to be a memorable event that will celebrate the career and legacy of El Salvador’s greatest soccer player, while marking a milestone in the history of national sports with the official reopening of the Jorge “El Mágico” González National Stadium, as infrastructure legacy of the Central American and Caribbean Games San Salvador 2023.
