The National Civil Police (PNC) reported the capture of an older adult who tried to kill his life partner with machetes, in the department of San Miguel.
The man was identified as Pio Antonio González, 67 years old, who was captured in the El Rebalse hamlet, in the department of San Miguel.
The woman was taken to the San Juan de Dios Regional Hospital, with serious injuries to her head, jaw and arms.
