Boing Boing is a film directed by Priyadarshan starring Mohanlal. Starring Lizzy, Madhuri and Ashwani as heroines, the film was a comedy entertainer. Starring Mukesh, Jagathy Sreekumar, Sukumari, Maniyanpilla Raju and others, the film has great replay value even today.
Maniyanpilla Raju shares his experience of shooting the film which has many comedy scenes. In the movie, Mohanlal’s car belonged to someone else, but at the end of the movie, he fell out with the producer and took the car away.
Maniyanpilla Raju says that he spoke a dialogue in that scene for the continuity of the film and that’s what the film is about. He was talking to Happy Frames.
“I’m a man who has a workshop in Boing Boing. Williams was the left hand car for the cameraman who had to drive Mohanlal
With Mohanlal, I am going to participate in it. But eventually he fell out with his producer. Just before he took the maximum, he left for Bangalore without paying for the car.
Priyan asked how to shoot and what to do. He doesn’t drive anymore. If so, it is necessary for the continuity of the film. I said I would settle all that in conversation. Finally I bring an ambassador saying get in the car.
I asked if I could ask Mohanlal where the other car was. So when I stopped the car, Lal asked where the other Benz car had gone, and I would say that its owner had come to call my aunt and take it away. The event is not clean. That’s how Boing Boing was shot,” says Maniyanpila Raju.
