Thobias Montler is suffering from a feeling in his hamstring.
One month before the European Athletics Championships.
– We have to get it sorted, says Montler to TV4.
It was not a fun Diamond League competition in Doha for Thobias Montler on Friday night.
The 28-year-old finished seventh with a jump that measured 7.74 meters and was hampered by an injured hamstring.
– It was a hamstring that sprained today unfortunately. I’m actually in the absolute best shape I can be in. I’ve never been stronger or faster or anything, says Montler to TV4.

He didn’t even think he would go to the competition and changed his mind when the hamstring felt better. But already during the warm-up the feeling came back.
– We have to get it sorted, says Montler and continues:
– I will contact the medical team directly to help me get over it as quickly as possible in view of the upcoming championships.
The EC in Rome starts in less than a month. The Paris Olympics are another month and a half away.
