The National Sports Institute of El Salvador (INDES) provided details of “Una Noche Mágica”, a gala where tribute will be paid to the legendary Jorge “El Mágico” González, on May 30, and for which 24,000 tickets have been allocated free.

The owner highlighted that $115.2 million were invested for the remodeling and reconstruction of the “most emblematic” sports venues in the country, which were used for the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games and among them the stadium that honors the most important soccer player in history. of Salvadoran sport.
“A tribute to the greatest soccer player from El Salvador in all of history, there is no doubt that it is Jorge, I even think that he does not realize or imagine what it generates in him, he is still Jorge with his simplicity and his charisma,” he added. .
Both players and coaching staff, authorities and the Spanish press, on behalf of the Cádiz team, will arrive in El Salvador on May 27, for the match against the blue and white team, approximately 90 people who will arrive on Monday at 6 p.m. late. On the 30th of the same month, at the Jorge “El Mágico” González National Stadium, at 8:00 pm the international friendly game between the Salvadoran team and Cádiz CF will be played. The doors will open at 4:00 pm and 24,000 free tickets have been available for this game. On the day of the match, a statue alluding to the player will be placed outside the stadium.
