Cyberpunk 2077 Receives Overwhelmingly Positive Reviews on Steam: CD Projekt RED Community Manager Responds

Every gamer probably remembers the disastrous launch of Cyberpunk 2077. The game, which had high hopes, was far from what we expected at the time of its debut. Optimization problems and a large number of bugs actually took fans away from the joy of exploring Night City. However, the developers from CD Projekt RED did not give up and constantly, step by step, improved the state of creation. As a result, it is a completely different game today, and the feedback from players is extremely positive.

Opening the game tab on Steam, the review section for the last 30 days immediately catches your eye, taking into account 6,859 comments, of which up to 95% are positive. This is a very big achievement, which was noted by both gamers and representatives of CD Projekt RED. One of the first to respond to the above results was Marcin Momot, community manager at CDPR. The developer did not fail to boast about the impressive product online, taking the opportunity to thank the community.

Recent reviews of Cyberpunk 2077 on Steam are “overwhelmingly positive” at 95%. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Cyberpunk 2077 lead designer Pavel Sasko declined to comment.

You can’t imagine what this means to me. I was never close to giving up and I always believed that somehow it was possible, but I never thought I would see it. Thank you so much for giving us a second chance.

And although the bar has been set very high, there is no doubt that this product can still be improved. In addition, in general, positive reviews make up only 83% of the total number of reviews (in July 2023, this figure was 80%). Therefore, CDPR still has a lot of work to do to improve the overall product. Of course, the development of the game as such has already been completed, but small or large improvements would still be welcome.
