The Victory Museum hosted a large festive concert “Songs about Victory” with the participation of the winners of the “Main Children’s Songs” project.
“I sang the song “Don’t Forget.” This song is not only about the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, but also about modern ones. Victory Day means a lot to me. My great-grandfather Ivan Prokofiev went through the whole war, I am very proud of him. When I perform this song, I think about him,” said Kirill Tomilin, a concert participant and winner of the “Main Children’s Songs” project.
“On Victory Day, I would like to wish my peers never to forget about those thanks to whom we live today!” – he added.
“I wrote the music for my song “Candle of Memory” myself,” said the winner of the “Main Children’s Songs” project, Ksenia Pavlova.
“This song is about what our great-grandfathers and great-grandmothers had to endure, and about what is happening now, about those military men who are now fighting for our Motherland. It is a great honor for me to perform my new song on Victory Day at the Victory Museum,” she emphasized.
