Like every year, the prizes that will be awarded at the fair, starting from Witch Girls and Boys is awarded to fiction books for children and teenagers published in Italy, also in translation, promoted by Maria and Goffredo Bellonci Foundation e Witch Alberti Benevento, organizers of the Strega Prize, with the Center for books and reading e BolognaFiere-Bologna Children’s Book Fair.

Also at the Nuvola during the days of the event will be held the awards ceremony for the winners of the Mastercard Literature Award and Mastercard Literature for Newcomers. This year too the winner will be announced Luigi Malerba Narrative Award 2023, while the awards ceremony will be organized by the Center for books and reading Tokyo-Rome Prize: words in transit with the awarding of the award to Aoko Matsuda.

Finally, created to raise awareness of the new voices of contemporary Latin American literary production translated and published in Italian, theIILA will assign the Literature Award and Best Translation to the writer Selva Almada for literature and to Francesca Lazzarato for the best translation.
