The second semi-final of Eurovision 2024: where to watch and who will perform

On May 9, at 10:00 p.m., the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will take place in Malmö, Sweden.

As informs corporate website of the Society, 16 participants – representatives of different countries – will compete for the right to enter the grand final. The show will be broadcast live by Public Broadcasting on several platforms at once.

Where to watch the second semi-final of Eurovision 2024

TV

At 21:30 on the TV channel “Society Culture” the program “Predshow. The Eurovision Song Contest 2024, hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko and the music producer of the national selection for Junior Eurovision 2023 Svitlana Tarabarova, will talk with guests in the studio. And they will be joined by:

alyona alyona & Jerry Heil — representatives of Ukraine at Eurovision 2024;

Anna Tulyeva is the host of Eurovision Diaries and vlogs about the Song Contest on the Eurovision Ukraine YouTube channel;

Herman Nenov is the director-producer of Luxembourg’s performance at Eurovision 2024, creative director of Eurovision 2023 from Ukraine and the National Selection for Junior Eurovision 2023;

Slava Demin is a showman, blogger, radio and TV host.

At 10:00 p.m., the live broadcast of the second semi-final of Eurovision 2024 will begin on the Suspilne Kultura TV channel, which will be commented by Timur Miroshnychenko.

The broadcast will be accompanied by sign language translation. Iryna Skolotova and Yulia Porplik will be the translators of the conversational studios of the second semi-final, Anfisa Boldusyeva and Lada Sokolyuk will be responsible for adapting the songs for the second time.

Radio

At 9:30 p.m., the pre-show will begin on Radio Promin. Dmytro Zakharchenko and Lesya Antipenko will work in the studio, and there will also be exclusive inclusions of Anna Zakletska from Malmö Arena.

At 10:00 p.m., the second semi-final of the 68th Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will be broadcast on Radio Promin.

In addition to the 16 participants who will compete for the finals of the Song Contest, during the second semi-final, the audience will also see the full performances of the three “Big Five” countries, which immediately advance to the finals: France, Spain and Italy.

As a reminder, the 68th Song Contest takes place in the Swedish city of Malmö, including two semi-finals and the grand final of Eurovision 2024, which will take place on May 11.

On May 7, the first semi-final of “Eurovision-2024” took place. 15 performers from different countries took part in it, 10 of which made it to the finals as a result of audience voting. These are representatives of Cyprus, Serbia, Lithuania, Ireland, Ukraine, Croatia, Slovenia, Finland, Portugal and Luxembourg.

Representatives of Ukraine alyona alyona & Jerry Heil with the song “Teresa & Maria”, who performed in the first semi-final of “Eurovision-2024”, reached the final of the Song Contest.

This year, Eurovision organizers made changes to the rules of the contest, including the voting system.

Eurovision 2024 is broadcast live by Public Broadcasting on several platforms.
