It was revealed that there was a negotiation from the BPK inspectors so that the time of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) was in the former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Siahrul Yasin Limpo (SYL) the Fair Without Exceptions forecast (WTP). The request from the BPK auditor to SYL is not a joke, the value is tens of billions.
This was revealed when the Secretary of the Director General of Infrastructure and Agricultural Resources (Dirjen PSP) of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan), Hermanto, was presented as a witness at the Jakarta Corruption Court, Wednesday (8/5) yesterday. Hermanto was presented as evidence for the defendant SYL, non-executive Secretary General of the Ministry of Agriculture Kasdi, and non-executive Director of the Ministry of Agriculture M Hatta.
SYL was charged with extortion and receiving extortion worth a total of IDR 44.5 billion. He was charged along with two of his former subordinates, namely Kasdi and M Hatta. Kasdi and Hatta were tried in separate case files.
The WTP negotiation issue started when KPK prosecutor Meyer Simanjuntak asked about the BPK investigation at the Ministry of Agriculture. Hermanto said there were two BPK inspectors who conducted inspections related to WTP.
“Then, what is the time, because it has already happened, it has happened. In the end, what is the opinion that the BPK issued? As far as the knowledge of the witness, was it WTP or WDP?” asked the KPK prosecutor.
“WTP. As far as I know, WTP, yes,” Hermanto replied.
The prosecutor then asked if Victor and Haerul Saleh were the names of the BPK investigators who conducted the investigation. Hermanto also admitted that he knew an investigator named Victor.
“Before the WTP incident, the witness Haerul Saleh knew, Victor was there. Who were those people, who was that?” asked the prosecutor.
“I know. Mr. Victor is the inspector who inspected us (Ministry of Agriculture),” replied Hermanto.
“Is that the entire Ministry of Agriculture or just the Director General of PSP?” asked the prosecutor.
“The entire Ministry of Agriculture,” replied Hermanto.
“What about Haerul Saleh?” asked the prosecutor.
“Chairman of AKN IV (Chief Financial Auditor IV),” answered Hermanto.
“Member of BPK AKN IV, does that mean Victor is its leader?” asked the prosecutor.
“Yes, boss,” replied Hermanto.
Prosecutors are continuing to investigate the case of the investigation by the BPK. Hermanto said there were findings in the BPK investigation.
“Then there is history related to Mr. Haerul, then Mr. Victor, who the witness himself asked at that time, how can the time be explained?” asked the prosecutor.
“BPK’s decisions are related to the granted food estate,” Hermanto replied.
BPK auditor wants IDR 12 billion
The prosecutor then investigated whether there was a request from the BPK regarding the decisions of the Ministry of Agriculture. Hermanto said that a BPK auditor asked him to submit a request for Rp 12 billion to SYL.
“What about this case? Is there a request or something that the Ministry of Agriculture needs to do to make it a WTP?” asked the prosecutor.
“Yes,” replied Hermanto.
