A Cuban resident in Switzerland, which had been reported missing since last April 12was found dead in a lake in Frankfurt, Germany.
This is Niurka Izaguirre Acevedo, 44 years old, who was last seen crossing the German border with the aim of visiting her two children.
The Cuban influencer Niover Licea indicated on social networks that, a few days ago, the Cuban woman’s husband was found dead in his home in Switzerland, which caught the attention of the authorities. Now, investigators are trying to determine if there is any connection between the two deaths.
According to local media, neighbors even stated that the couple argued frequently in the garden of their house during the winter, and that the woman had decided to move out of the house a month ago.
Finally, the authorities have requested the community’s help to locate the white BMW 320d car, which belonged to the Cuban woman and could contain important clues to solve the case.
Among the comments, it was specified that the victim was originally from the municipality of Manatí, in the province of Las Tunas.
On social media, the Cuban woman’s family was sharing her case, requesting help from anyone who may have seen her before her disappearance.
“This is my sister. Please help us find them. Please share her on all media. Thank you for her help! ”Wrote the Cuban’s sister, Nisleydis Izaguirre Acevedo, on Facebook.
Nisleydis’s last update was to share an official police statement confirming the unfortunate discovery of his sister, as well as asking the community to share information that could help solve the mystery of her death.
“The Frankfurt police found a lifeless person. It is now clear that she was the woman missing since April 12, 2024. Local authorities are clarifying the exact circumstances. The local police are in contact with the Aargau cantonal police,” the local police said in an official statement.
