Lawyer leader Ahsan Bhavan announced in a statement that a nationwide strike and protest has been called for tomorrow.
He said that tomorrow no lawyer will appear in the courts across the country, lawyers will take out rallies across the country tomorrow.
According to details, police lathi-charged and shelled the protest of lawyers at GPO Chowk against the transfer of civil courts in Lahore and terrorism cases against lawyers.
Due to the clash between the lawyers and the police, the GPO Chowk turned into a battlefield.
The situation has become tense after the lawyers pelted stones on the police and tear gas shelling and baton charge on the police lawyers and the police have locked the Lahore High Court.
Lahore High Court Bar had announced to take out a rally today. This rally was supposed to start from Awan Adl and reach GPO Chowk Lahore High Court. However, there was already a heavy contingent of police and water cannons outside the Lahore High Court.
The rally was being taken out by the Lahore Bar Association against the division of civil courts and terrorism cases registered against lawyers.

The police also used water cannons to disperse the protestors, the police also arrested the lawyers participating in the demonstration.
The lawyers removed the barriers outside the GPO Chowk and High Court and pelted stones at the police, resulting in injuries to SP Model Town.
