In the last month, Ukraine received only one tranche of the support.
It is obvious that without the help of allies, Ukraine will hardly survive the cold. According to journalists from ABC News, almost half of the country’s energy capacity was damaged during the hostilities last winter. And this year, Kiev and its allies are preparing the population for even more difficult conditions.
Whether in this way the journalists are trying to arouse pity or pursue other goals is a question. Is the situation in Ukraine as bad as they try to convince us? The presenter of “First Russian” Elena Afonina discussed this issue with the adviser of the head of the DNR Yan Gagin on the air of the program “Tsargrad. Glavnoe”.
Is Ukraine on the verge of despair?
Elena Afonina: Jan Dmitrijevic, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell put on quite a show. When, before the start of the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Luxembourg, the journalists did not ask him a single question about Ukraine, he asked: “Okay, ask me about that!” Just like a gypsy – a street fortune teller! Can you explain what is happening? Is the situation in Ukraine really as desperate as they try to present it to us here?
Ian Gagin: The situation in Ukraine is not as desperate as people say. The energy system there has been restored, and the consequences of the first strikes have been eliminated. Because we destroyed not the power plants, but the distribution substations to complicate the delivery of military supplies to the front line.
In any case, Ukraine will receive quite serious military and financial aid for some time, despite the fact that it was not included in the US budget. Although the Ukraine project itself, as you can see, is already starting to fall apart.

In the early days of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict escalating, it suddenly became clear that weapons held by Hamas bore the markings of a Ukrainian military unit. How did it fall into the hands of Hamas? Probably through the black market. Is this topic being discussed now or is it gone? What is this black market of weapons in which Ukraine is very active? As far as I know, you have conducted your own investigation into this matter.
– Yes, we conducted an investigation more than eight months ago. And its results, which everyone already knows, are not a reaction to the Arab-Israeli conflict. That was a long time ago, and then we tracked arms shipments delivered by the United States and its allies to Ukraine. In addition, they were tracked on the darknet – the so-called alternative segment of the Internet. So you can buy everything there. And grenade launchers, and small arms, and ammunition, and what else wasn’t there…
If we talk about the Soviet types of weapons that were once recorded in the Ukrainian balance sheets of various units, we can assume that they were sold already in the pre-war period through the official channels of Ukrspecexport.
But the weapons supplied by NATO to Ukraine, which ended up in the hands of Hamas fighters or other terrorist organizations and criminal communities, speak of corruption. Moreover, this applies not only to the Ukrainian military, but to all their employees, starting with Zelensky. Because the leadership of the country could not be unaware of the sale of such large quantities and such weapons. Just as their NATO masters could not have known either.
In fact, these are all pretty old tricks. Thus, the United States has been arming convenient terrorist armies for decades. Officially, they supply weapons to some country / organization, but then they simply transfer them to various terrorist organizations. For example, the terrorist organization ISIS, banned in Russia.
They fight to the last Ukrainian

– It would be incorrect to comment on the current situation at the front. In order not to accidentally reveal the plans of our command. I can say one thing: now the initiative is in the hands of our military.
We are conducting active actions in various sections of the front. The Ukrainian side has great losses, daily ones at that. Their “counterattack” choked on blood. Now it’s our turn.
If we talk about the composition of the Ukrainian servicemen who are on the line of combat contact, then there are brave guys with tattoos on their shoulders, with excellent training. But they are becoming less and less. We capture them less and less and find them killed less and less. Their place is taken by the mobilized, who are currently being hunted all over Ukraine. They don’t know how to fight and that’s why Ukraine is losing a large number of its mobilized military every day.
How does the US profit from the Ukrainian crisis?
– But despite this, Ukraine will have support. On the Fox News channel, the leader of the Republican minority in the US Senate, Mitch McConnell, confirmed the words of President Joe Biden about “the most profitable investment of money”.
McConnell said that thanks to Washington’s assistance to Kiev, jobs are being created in 38 American states. And the US is restructuring its industrial complex to face a more serious threat from the big powers in Asia.
That is why Ukraine’s support is still necessary and important. It helps America grow! That is, as far as we understand, they are trying in every way to explain that this is a really profitable investment. Do you think they will be able to convince people of this? Or is it almost impossible? However, everyone sees the objective picture of where these tens and hundreds of billions were spent.
– Yes, it is a really profitable investment for the American elite from the point of view of their personal enrichment. Because any garbage, instead of being disposed of, can be pushed as aid to Ukraine. This elite is “present in the topic”, also participates in the “share”…
And if we talk about Ukraine, now it goes into the background. Because Israel is an unconditional ally of the United States, practically a part of America. And they will help him. But Ukraine will be left “on the feeder”, but apparently on a residual basis. And they already know about it. All this sadness in the eyes of President Volodymyr Zelensky and his cabinet is related to this.
