In a confrontation full of intensity, San Salvador defeated Lobos with a final score of 65-53 in the match played at the Inclusive Sports City. With that small advantage left at the end of the first half, San Salvador fought tenaciously in the third period, widening the gap on the scoreboard. With a joint effort, they managed to contain Lobos’ offensive power, limiting their production to only eight points against the 12 that the capital’s team added to close the third quarter 48-42.

In the last episode, San Salvador secured its victory with a solid performance in both defense and attack. Despite Lobos’ attempt to mount a comeback, the capitalians stood firm, closing the period 17-11, securing the final 65-53 victory and their position at the top of the standings.

Santa Tecla won
The Tecleño team, led by Juan Carlos Gutiérrez, ended a streak of four games without winning yesterday at the Adolfo Pineda Municipal Gymnasium by beating Fantasmas de San Vicente 94-85.

Led by Andravious Smith, who contributed 41 points and 15 rebounds, Santa Tecla won again and is now in sixth place with 22 points, the same as Cojute, which is fifth in the table.
