Mother of a young father murdered in Santiago de Cuba demands justice – 2024-05-07 06:48:02

The Cuban mother went to social networks to reveal the faces of two people and demand that justice be done, this after their actions ended the life of a young father in mid-March in the province of Santiago de Cuba.

This is Dineidis Llópiz Hernández, mother of Rafael Montero Llópiz, 29, who was stabbed on March 14 in the San Luis municipality.

According to independent reporter Yosmany Mayeta Labrada, who shared this complaint, the woman regrets what happened, as it left a hurt mother, a son wondering about his father, and the rest of the family devastated.

“I finally looked for him and found him. These were the murderers who ended my son’s life, leaving a mother with a heart broken in two, a child crying and asking for his father, a father and a brother suffering day by day, in short, the entire family,” reads the publication, which shows the faces of two people.

“I ask that justice take care of them and the almighty God,” added Llópiz Hernández.

While the woman did not specify whether these people were already in custody, the complaints made on that occasion stated that one of those involved had surrendered to the National Revolutionary Police (PNR) after having committed the crime.

On that occasion, it was learned that the young man was drinking with several people when a fight broke out with one of those present. During the argument, the other person’s brother arrived at the scene with a knife and attacked the young man from behind.

“He was drinking alcoholic beverages with other people from the La Granja neighborhood and he came out arguing with a boy from the area. But suddenly, the brother of the person who was in the dispute came and stabbed him twice in the back,” Mayeta Labrada recalled in her most recent publication.
